Apteus Group Terms of Use

These terms of use (the 'Terms') govern your use of the website www.apteusgroup.com (the 'Site') and all of its subdomains. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to accept these Terms in full. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Site.
The Site is operated by Apteus Group Limited (the "operating company"), part of the Apteus Group ("we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16774985) whose registered office is at First Floor, 1 Des Roches Square, Witan Way, Witney OX28 4BE. Our VAT number is 513172133.
These Terms govern your use of this Site only. References in these Terms to the "Apteus Group" include Apteus Holdings Limited (company number 16773949) and its subsidiaries, business units and trading names, including Apteus Audit Limited and businesses trading under names such as Farries, Kirk & McVean (FK&M), Hodge Bakshi, Richard Anthony, Lawrence Grant, DSA Prospect and FTS Recovery. These Terms do not apply to the separate websites or domains operated by those businesses, which may be subject to their own terms and conditions.
Each Apteus Group company is a separate legal entity. Any professional services are provided under a separate engagement by the relevant Apteus Group entity and not by the Apteus Group or any other group company unless expressly agreed in writing.
Professional advice and regulation
The information on the Site does not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon as such. Any professional services we provide are subject to a separate engagement letter and our standard terms of business. Companies within the Apteus Group are regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) for a range of investment business activities. Apteus Audit Limited (company number 16775133) is registered to carry on audit work in the UK by the ICAEW; details of its audit registration can be viewed at www.auditregister.org.uk under reference number C011008481. Different Apteus Group entities hold different regulatory permissions; details of which entity holds which permission are available on request.
Intellectual property rights
Unless otherwise stated, we own or are licensed to use the intellectual property rights in the Site and all material published on it, including its design, layout, appearance, graphics, and text. These works are protected by copyright and other laws. All such rights are reserved.
You may view, download for caching purposes, and print pages from the Site for your own reference, and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on the Site.
You must not:
- republish, reproduce, or store material from the Site on any other website or in any public or private retrieval system;
- edit or otherwise modify any material on the Site;
- copy, sell, resell, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site for commercial purposes without our express written permission.
If you breach these Terms, your right to use the Site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the material you have made.
Client relationship
Your access to or use of the Site does not create a client relationship between you and Apteus Group Limited. If you wish us to act for you, we must first complete our standard client engagement process, and we reserve the right to decline to act where doing so would create a conflict of interest. Any information you submit to us via the Site before that process is complete will not be treated as confidential.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful or harmful purpose. You must not post, upload, or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, or that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any other person. We reserve the right to edit or remove any material posted on the Site and to suspend or restrict access where we consider it appropriate.

Any personal data we collect through the Site is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which set out how we use your information and the cookies on the Site. By using the Site, you consent to such processing.
General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Site and supersede all previous agreements in respect of that use. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
We may revise these Terms at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take note of any changes, as they are binding on you.
